Cleric calls for three-day national prayer

The Planter of Christ Apostolic Church, Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain (GMPM), Prophet Sam Olu Alo has called for a three-day national prayer against the further spread of coronavirus in the country.

Alo, who said the development was part of the manifestation of God’s revelation to him in January, said Nigerians must continue to seek the face of God in prayers and ask for mercy.

The cleric attributed the outbreak to the sin being perpetrated by the people and urged Nigerians to comply with government’s stay-at-home order to stop the spread.

He also urged his followers to always make use of the online platforms of the ministry where they can also join him in offering prayers for the country over the pandemic.

“While we are at home, let us draw ourselves closer to God and continue to pray to Him on the issue of coronavirus. We must ask for his mercy and forgiveness of sin,” he said.
